Joanne Craske has been a retoucher all her working life of over twenty years. Originally, she was a hand- retoucher working with transparencies on a light-box using bleaches and dyes - then progressing to working digitally when the transition from conventional retouching to digital took place.


She has worked in both major colour labs and repro houses  with top creative photographers, graphic designers
and ad agencies in the U.K. Her work has appeared in most leading fashion, beauty and style related publications and on billboards across the country.


Before turning freelance Joanne had successful working relationships with advertising agencies such as AMV, BMP, Redwood, McCann Erickson, Emap  Winkreative, Ogilvy and Mather, J Walter Thomson, Bates, Burrows, and Saatchi and Saatchi.


Advertising campaigns have included; Renault, Marks & Spencer, Deutche Bank, BT, Volvo, BBC, Sainsbury’s, Douwe Egberts, MFI, Clarks and Guinness.


Joanne works with the latest edition of Photoshop (CC 2015) on a powerful Mac Pro with 32 GB of memory viewing on a fully calibrated Eizo colorEdge CG277 screen.


Working from her studio at home and using a file transfer system enables Joanne to be available to her clients remotely at all times.
